Classes
All dancers are evaluated by our certified staff to determine class placement. Instructors will place students in the class that best suits their needs. Please note that competition level does not always dictate class placement.

Beginner Class
The Beginner Class is open to students ages 4 & up. This class is designed for new and Beginner dancers. Dancers in the Beginner Class are taught the fundamental movements and motions of Irish Dance in a fun and focused environment.
Beginner 1 Soft Shoe
Mondays - 4:15pm to 5:00pm
Beginner 2 Soft Shoe
Wednesdays - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Advanced Beginner Class
The Advanced Beginner Class is open to students at the Advanced Beginner level. Dancers will work on learning new dances and more advanced material in both soft and hard shoe.

Advanced Beginner Hard Shoe
Mondays - 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Intermediate Class
The Intermediate Class is open to students at the Novice and Prizewinner level. Dancers will work on more challenging material in both soft and hard shoe dances while perfecting their technique.

Intermediate Hard Shoe
Thursdays - 5:00pm to 6:30pm
Champion Class
The Champion Class is open to competitive dancers at the Preliminary and Open Championship level. Students will receive more in-depth and vigorous training with an emphasis on technique, style, and fitness. All Champion Classes aim to prepare dancers for local, national, and world championship competitions throughout the year.

Adult Class
Our recreational Adult class is geared towards dancers 18&up and highlights fun and fitness through Irish dance training. Students will learn the foundations of both individual and group dancing in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

With over 20 years of competitive, performance, and instructional experience, Amanda Carpenter Gilleland, TCRG has developed her passion for Irish Dance. Through her creativity and drive, she aims to provide the highest quality Irish Dancing experience for all students.

Pairing her love of dance and her experience as a social worker, Julia Nailor, TCRG brings a unique perspective to the academy. Her compassion and creativity empowers dancers to take pride in their craft, fuel healthy mind-body connections, and find joy in each stage of the learning process.
